PEBBLE Ultra Compact OEM Spectrometers

Full Spectrum PEBBLE Ultra Compact spectrometers

Ultra compact and high performance Spectrometers

PEBBLE Compact Spectrometers

Ultra-compact and high performance

The PEBBLE platform is a series of cost-efficient, pre-configured ultra-compact OEM spectrometers. These ultra-compact PEBBLE spectrometers come in a VIS, VIS-NIR, and a NIR versions. They combine small size with high resolution and sensitivity as well as environmental ruggedness and are the ideal OEM solution for all those handheld and portable system applications, where performance cannot be sacrificed to obtain compactness and/or low cost.

Using a diode array spectrometer for fluorescence spectroscopy can provide many benefits over optical filter-based instruments. If you use more than a few emission filters a diode array spectrometer can be less bulky, less expensive, and easier to use. Furthermore, by obtaining the full spectrum you get the possibility to deconvolute overlapping spectra and perform background and Raman subtraction. The latest CMOS diode arrays are even fast enough that you can perform flow cytometry measurements.

Proven diffraction grating technology

PEBBLE is based on the same proven diffraction grating technology used in all other Ibsen spectrometers. This ensures that PEBBLE can be manufactured in high quantities with very small unit-to-unit performance variations. A key benefit of using a transmission grating inside PEBBLE is a high resolution across the full wavelength range. This resolution is one of the best for this size of spectrometer on the market. Furthermore, the pure transmission-based optics inside PEBBLE ensures very good thermal stability
